Mr. Asif Akram is a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of an international organization “Living Goods”. The organization specializes in the community health by empowering people to improve the health of their families, friends and communities. Mr. Akram is responsible for overseeing all of the tech-related operations, developing strategic goals and leading research on the latest industry-specific technology. Prior to his current role, Mr. Akram was also a Senior Assistant Director of Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine - NTU, Singapore and Chief Technology Officer at Department of Primary Care and Public Health, Imperial College, London.

Mr. Akram has extensive experience of delivering software and internet based projects to global brand leaders and FTSE companies. His portfolio ranging from scientific to media streaming applications; from single desktop to large scale clustering; from single server to cloud computing and from computer to mobile solutions.

Mr. Akram has always excelled in the ever-changing field of computer technology and was actively involved in different challenging projects. He has a long track record of ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality, within budget by effectively organising, managing and utilising all resources. He had led teams on commercial, industrial, education and health projects where the highest standards are routinely demanded. He is also actively involved in all aspects of the project life-cycle and delivered high-value projects in matrixed organizations and across different geographies.

Mr. Akram's areas of expertise include delivering high profile commercial and scientific projects; e-Commerce & multi-channel solutions; creating software roadmaps for application lifecycle and modification; bringing research novelty to application development; instigating and managing project governance to achieve milestone objectives; and assembling/managing virtual teams of up to 40 people. He is an excellent team builder/leader with a focus on delivery. His specialities are software/services product development; Project/Programme Management; Business Process Analysis; Scrum Framework/Agile methodologies; E-Commerce & Online Sales Portal and Research & Development. Also, he is well versed with different application servers; relational, noSQL and XML databases. His key technical strength is advanced knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture; solution integration and diverse experience from various domains.
