Summary

Angela Dalrymple holds the roles of Programme Director (Strategic Marketing & Summer Schools) and Principal Teaching Fellow at Imperial College Business School. Angela has 29 years' experience in marketing strategy and lecturing, and has held senior marketing and lecturing roles with major business schools and international enterprises, including AT&T, Thomson Reuters and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Angela's qualifications include:-

  • MA and BA (Oxford University)
  • MBA (Distinction)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education (Distinction)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Business Research Methods (Distinction) 
  • Diploma in Management Studies (Distinction)
  • Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy
  • Level Authority and Senior Examiner with the Chartered Institute of Marketing

Currently undertaking Doctoral research into functional relationships between the application of market research and improvements in marketing orientation amongst UK business-to-business organisations in the services sector.

Angela also holds the role of Associate Professor of Marketing with the American Institute for Foreign Studies / University of St Thomas Minnesota, and has previously lectured / examined in marketing and business strategy with London School of Business & Finance / University of Wales, Portsmouth University Business School, Plymouth University Business School, and the Open University Business School.

Angela is a senior professional member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Institute of Directors, and the UK Market Research Society.

Winner of the 2015 President's Award for Excellence in Education and Teaching at Imperial College London.

Angela has held senior and board-level marketing roles with AT&T, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Thomson Reuters, and has also served on the board of the UK Government Young Enterprise programme in London.

Specialist areas include international marketing, consumer behaviour, marketing research, market segmentation, services marketing, consulting strategies and relationship marketing.
