Research Interests
Understanding fundamental cell biological mechanisms regulating G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signal transduction and applying these mechanisms in diverse physiological and pathophysiological systems.
Current Projects
- Spatial control of gonadotrophin hormone receptor (luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone) activity
- Molecular mechanisms and functional role of GPCR dimerization and oligomerization on receptor activity via super-resolution imaging
- Prostaglandin and oxytocin receptor action in the pregnant human myometrium and the signalling pathways modulated in labour and pre-term labour
- GPCR action in the human endometrium and reprogramming of receptor activity in recurrent pregnancy loss and endometrial cancer
- Molecular regulation of metabolite sensing GPCRs in intestinal function
- Targeting Kisspeptin receptor activation in women's reproductive health
