Summary
Andreas A. Roussakis (MD, PhD, AFHEA, fCMgr) is Senior Clinical Project Manager at the National Heart & Lung Insitute, and Clinical Operations Lead at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Periodically, Dr Roussakis works clinically for the NHS as a Consultant Neurologist.
In his current role, he is primarily responsible for the regulatory, financial and operational aspects of clinical research (EME Programme, NIHR & MRC partnership). He has a leading role in planning, day-to-day management and governance affairs. Dr Roussakis has significant experience in the design, management and conduct of original research involving patients and healthy volunteers.
He was trained in Neurology/Movement Disorders at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He has scientific expertise in degenerative disorders and nuclear medicine imaging, and substantial teaching experience.
He is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE, UK) and holds a qualification in Leadership and Supervisory Management, accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI, UK).
