Human Neuro-Plasticity Laboratory
To understand the mechanisms of brain adaptation and plasticity, we combine pyschophysics and ocular motor recordings with structural and functional neuro-imaging; non-invasive brain stimulation (TMS and tDCS).
To further probe mechanisms in order develop new therapeutic approaches, we assess the modulation of behaviour and neurophysiological responses in response to brain stimulation (e.g. TMS) and drug modulation.
We investigate patients with problems of spatial orientation (e.g. stroke, Alzheimer's Disease), dizziness and imbalance and eye movement problems (e.g. multiple sclerosis related nystagmus).
