Chris is a Research Analyst within Imperial College London’s Railway and Transport Strategy Centre, having joined from Atkins, an engineering consultancy, in April 2016.

His initial research at the RTSC is connected to the work of the newly-formed International Mainline Rail Benchmarking Group.

Chris’ previous transport planning experience includes contributions to the Crossrail 2 Outline Business Case (for Transport for London); transport strategies for local authorities in Great Britain; and transport assessments and travel plans for residential and retail developments.

Chris has a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing from UCL (with input from Imperial College London).  His end-of-year project investigated terrestrial laser scanning as a deformation monitoring technique, at the ‘Shard’ construction site, London Bridge railway station.
