Dr. Boem has collaborations with top-level international research institutions: EPFL (Switzerland), KTH (Stocholm, Sweden), University of Cyprus (Cyprus), Politecnico of Milano (Italy), University of Padua (Italy), University of Pavia (Italy), University of Modena and Reggio-Emilia (Italy), United Technologies Research Center Ireland UTRC-I, Cork (Republic of Ireland).
She cooperated with the R&D department of Danieli Automation SpA, Italy from 2009 to 2015 for the design of a fault diagnosis architecture for a real industrial system.

INVITED TALKS
Dr. Boem has been invited to give the pre-workshop tutorial “Plug-and-play control and monitoring of large-scale systems”, with Prof. G. Ferrari-Trecate, EPFL, at the 9th IFAC Symposium on Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety for Technical Processes, Paris, France in September 2015.
She has been invited to give seminars in research groups of international relevance: at the University of Cambridge (UK) in June 2018; University of Padua (Italy) in 2017, by Prof. Cenedese, Tsinghua University (China) in 2015, by prof. Qing-Shan Jia, and Ruhr-Bochum University (Germany) in 2015, by Prof. Lunze.

Since 2017 Dr. Boem is Member of IFAC Technical Committee 6.4 on Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety of Technical Processes (SAFEPROCESS).
