Frances joined Imperial in 2011 as Assistant Director Library Academic Services and took up her new role as Deputy Director in August 2015. She has worked at a number of organisations including the Digital Preservation Committee, the University of Oxford Bodleian Libraries, the Cancer Research Fund, the Royal Society of Chemistry and the University of Liverpool.
She has authored a number of books and journal articles and contributed to the wider profession serving on national committees. She was the recipient of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) Daphne Clarke Library and Information Research prize.
