AB -
Novel plasmonic nanostructures, which are near-IR active, has been developed in our group as powerful fluorescence enhancers. The technology is highly versatile for ultrasensitive diagnosis and deep tissue imaging-two key areas for future diagnostics. I will present some nanostructures we have designed and developed and then discuss their applications in biosensing and cell imaging in near infrared biological transparency window.
