In my current role as Digital Communications Manager, I support three academic departments within the Faculty of Medicine (Brain Sciences, Infectious Disease and Immunology & Inflammation) in delivering their key strategic aims through communications and marketing.
For staff and students in these areas, I'm the first point-of-contact for queries relating to:
- News and events
- Marketing and branding
- Websites, blogs and Professional Web Pages (PWPs)
- Social media
- Managing reputational risk, crisis communications and media relations
- Internal communications
- Photography and filming
I am also a committee member for the College's Communications Network, which organises monthly talks for anyone working in a comms-related role within Imperial College. Please feel free to get in touch if you are interested in joining or finding out more.
I joined Imperial in October 2014 after graduating with a first-class honours degree (BA English) from the University of Exeter. I have worked as a Section Manager for the Divisions of Brain Science and Experimental Medicine in the former Department of Medicine, and as Communications Officer for the Department of Chemical Engineering.
