Summary

I am an Imperial College Research Fellow in the Department of Aeronautics. My research focusses on the development of methods for the analysis of nonlinear dynamical system, which combine rigorous mathematical analysis with numerical tools for semidefinite and sum-of-squares (SOS) optimisation. Such methods are still in their infancy but my long term goal is to apply these to complex systems, especially those coming from fluid mechanics. My other research interests include the development of structure- and sparsity-exploiting algorithms for the solution of large-scale semidefinite and SOS programmes, as well as the formulation of modelling frameworks for dynamical system analysis that can easily take advantage of these.
