Hande is a Chemical Engineer with extensive knowledge and experience in designing electrochemical processes and characterization of advanced battery technologies. She received PhD in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London which she was under the supervision of Prof. Magda Titirici.
Her PhD research focused on developing high-performance electrode materials for Na-ion batteries and electrochemical characterisations using in-operando and ex-situ techniques. More specifically, She has been working on the charge storage mechanism, electrode structure-function relationship with the goal of novel Na-ion anode electrode discovery. She has been also examining the electrode interphase formations with various liquid electrolytes-electrode morphology combinations and investigating how the electrochemical performance, cyclic stability, and efficiency are influenced by the components of Solid electrolyte interphase.
