Summary

Summary

I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition followed by a Master of Science degree in immunology and allergy at the University of Nottingham. I developed a broad-range of research interests in, nutrient-gene interactions, cancer immunology and therapeutics, epigenetics and allergic respiratory diseases. In 2016, I completed my PhD research at University College London, under the supervision of Professor Robin McAnulty and Dr Christopher Scotton, studying the role of DNA methylation in pulmonary fibrosis.

After my PhD, I joined Imperial College London as a Research Associate studying the role of epigenetic mechanisms in pancreatic cancer. I currently study mechanisms of a novel dual methyl transferase inhibitor on the epigenomic landscape, biomarkers of drug resistance and PARP synergy in ovarian cancer under the supervision of Professor Bob Brown.
