Summary

Summary

I'm a Heilbronn Research Fellow at Imperial, working in algebraic geometry.

Before that I was a postdoc at the University of Oxford, where I did my DPhil.

I'm also one of the Postdoc Reps for the maths department.

Research

I'm most interested in moduli problems in algebraic geometry; more specifically, constructing 'moduli spaces of unstable objects', which enlarge traditional classifications by including objects that are usually thrown out of the moduli problem.

The technical machinery for this relies on a new form of Geometric Invariant Theory (GIT), which allows quotienting by non-reductive groups.

My email address is [first initial].[last name]@imperial.ac.uk
