Summary

Jolande Bot-Vos joined Imperial College Business School in 2016. Jolande was academic director of the MSc International Management and MSc Management from 2017-2022. She teaches financial and management accounting in masters and executive programmes at The Business School.

Jolande’s career has spanned consulting, financial management and academia. For more than a decade Jolande was a management consultant at Arthur D. Little, where she led and participated in a wide variety of engagements in different industries and countries varying from strategy development, overhead restructuring programmes, and investment assessments, to new product development and pricing schemes.

As Finance Director at an international hospitality business school Jolande was in charge of financial management of the school and led a restructuring programme to improve the school’s financial position and processes.

On the academic side, before joining Imperial College Business School, Jolande was programme director at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and member of the senior management team. She was responsible for five undergraduate degree programmes and two masters programme, and taught Financial Management  to students in different bachelor programmes. She developed and launched an international undergraduate programme in business, initiated several curriculum innovation projects introducing active and blended learning methods and innovated accounting and finance courses to improve student success.

Jolande is an Amy and Richard F. Wallman Scholar at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master of Science in Economics from The Erasmus University Rotterdam.
