Summary

I am a PhD student studying the topography, in both space and time, for the Western Mediterranean countries. The main aim of my research is to understand the causes of the changing landscape of this region. A significant part of my work is quantitative analysis of fluvial systems, which can be used to calculate a continuous record of surface uplift. I will adapt and apply the technique for this tectonically active area, and combine the results with field data and geophysical data sets. I also use cosmogenic nuclide burial dating as an independent method to discover the age of topographic features.
