Summary

Kate is a Research Assistant in Epidemiology and Population Health for the NCD Risk Factor Collaboration (NCD-RisC), within the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the School of Public Health.

Prior to joining Imperial College London, Kate worked in the NCD Surveillance team at the World Health Organization, working on city-level progress monitoring of NCD and injury prevention, and the reporting of national population-based NCD risk factor data.

Kate holds a MSc Epidemiology degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and an integrated Master’s degree in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) from the University of Cambridge. Her MSc Epidemiology research explored gender differences in the prevalence of obesity and whether physical activity has a mediating role.
