Katie Stripe is senior learning technologist for the National Heart and Lung Institute and part of the post-graduate medicine curriculum review team.
After working in the Czech Republic as an English Language teacher Katie returned to the UK to complete a teaching diploma and gain qualified teacher status. She has been working at NHLI since 2013 first with MSc Preventive Cardiology and now in the department working on all MSc taught courses. She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Certified Member of the Association of Learning Technologists.
In 2017 Katie was part of a team that received a grant from The Excellence Fund for Learning and Teaching Innovation to develop the IMPLEMnT project which aims to design and build a tool that helps people in higher education deliver technology enhanced education.
She is also part of the team developing IMPACTS: An Inclusive Module for Professional And Critical Thinking Skills which received funding in 2018 to create a blended programme for delivering professional and critical thinking skills to post-graduate medical students.
