Marzia joined the Sustainable Gas Institute as a Ph.D. student in the Chemical Engineering Department at Imperial College London in October 2015.

With her research she investigates the economic feasibility, social benefits and policy implications of EU shared and coordinated gas storage services which contribute to energy security and the re-organization of business models for gas storage in selected EU countries.

Over the past few years, as a senior researcher at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, she has been dealing with research issues that broadly relate to sustainability: waste management, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable business.
