Laser Plasma Interactions

Laser Plasma Wakefield Acceleration

Temporal and spatial measurements of the driving laser pulse in order to diagnose the mechanisms leading to self-injection and acceleration of electron beams.

Solid Target Interactions

Probing the relativistic dynamics of solid density plasmas by measurements of the temporal and spectral properties of the back-reflected and transmitted laser pulses. These measurements are relvent to the diagnosis of ion and electron acceleration experiments and to harmonic generation.
