Summary
Dr Michael Weatherburn leads Humanities and Social Sciences within Imperial's Horizons programme.
He teaches undergraduate and graduate students in history, digital studies, and business ethics, as well as leading Imperial's humanities research projects.
Educated at Oxford and Imperial College, Dr Weatherburn holds an Imperial doctorate, in which he explored the long-term development of the management consultancy sector and its modelling methods.
His current educational research comprises two projects:
1. Change management in digital education.
2. The historical impact of humanities education.
Michael is Academic Fellow at the Data Science Institute, Associate at the Institute for Security Science and Technology, and Honorary Associate Professor at Hong Kong University. He was onetime Byrne-Bussey Marconi Fellow at Oxford University, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, and committee member of the U.S. Academy of Management history division.
