Summary
Priya Wells is a Managing Associate of the Transport Strategy Centre (TSC) within the Centre for Transport Studies at Imperial College London. Priya's work focuses on urban rail - specifically metros, trams and light rail. She is the Project Manager and lead for two global groups facilitated at the TSC: COMET (Community of Metros) and BOLTS (international tram and light rail). Priya also carries out consultancy for international organisations such as The World Bank and MTR (Hong Kong).
Prior to joining the TSC, Priya worked at Transport for London in transport planning and project sponsorship. At TfL, Priya's experience focused on strategic and management business cases, major infrastructure assessments (capacity, impacts), scheme concept design and operational management (for example during the 2012 Olympic Games).
Priya has a Masters degree in Spatial Planning specialising in Urban Design from the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London and is a Member of the Transport Planning Society, Women in Transport, and the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation.
