Summary
Qiao Yan is a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Nilay Shah and Dr Salvador Acha. Her work is part of a research collaboration focusing on smart sensing, analytics and predictive modeling to aid planning and optimization for the urban habitat.
More specifically, her work concerns the of use digital twins and other predictive models to study the behaviors of residential estate systems in Singapore, as well as how predictive control could be utilized to prevent stresses to the systems.
