El-Taha YC, Springate E, Carley R, et al., 2008, Electron emission from atomic clusters irradiated with few cycle laser pulses
We present the first study of atomic clusters irradiated by ultra-short pulses. A weak prepulse has been shown to allow energetic coupling with the clusters enhancing the electron yield. © 2008 Optical Society of America.

Mendham KJ, Tisch JWG, Mason MB, et al., 2002, Measurement and optimisation of ion energies from laser-cluster interactions
Measurement and optimization of ion energies from laser-cluster interactions were presented. The proton energy distribution achieved from the irradiation of 100 Å clusters by 90 fs laser pulses was measured by time-of-flight analysis. Experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of a chirped laser pulse on the laser-cluster interaction. Results indicated that a 60% increase in ion energies was achieved when the pulse was negatively chirped and this increase depended upon cluster size and species.
