TEACHNG & DOCTORAL SUPERVISION
Teaching
Richard is Co-Course Director of the MEd in University Learning and Teaching and Programme Director of the Supporting Learning and Teaching Pathway (SLTP). He is also the module lead for the PG Cert module: Approaches to Teaching. He teaches across the Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma and the MEd in University Learning and Teaching, and supervises Masters dissertations on a range of topics. Richard also facilitates a variety of workshops offered by the Educational Development Unit, including supporting colleagues applying for AdvanceHE Associate Fellowship, Fellowship, and Senior Fellowship.
PhD Supervision
- Kelly Peake (2022 - 2025): Performing Science (supervised with Dr Jo Horsburgh).
- Roisin Gwyon (2023 - 2026): Signature Assessment & Feedback Pedagogies in a STEMMB Context (supervised with Dr Monika Pazio Rossiter, CHERS, & Dr Charlotte Sutherell, Chemistry).
