Roman Kolcun received M.Eng. in Computer Science at Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, in 2007, M.Sc. in Advanced Computing at Imperial College London, United Kingdom, in 2008, and Ph.D. in Computing at Imperial College London, United Kingdom, in 2015. Since 2015, he works as a Research Associate at Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. His research interest includes distributed algorithms, distributed query processing, and communication protocols in wireless sensor networks with the focus on energy efficiency, reliability, and low latency.
