Summary
I am an environmental epidemiologist with a particular interest in exposure assessment, spatial epidemiology, routine health data analysis and biomarkers of exposure and effect.
Current research projects include:
- Exploring the social, economic and environmental determinants of childhood type 1 diabetes
- Assessing the impact of noise and air pollution exposure on health within the BioSHaRE project
- Measuring the associations between measures of green space and birth outcomes
- Using milk teeth as a biomarker of early life history of lead exposure
- Assessing the impact of residential mobility during pregnancy on environmental exposure
- Exploring the possible environmental contribution to Chronic Kidney Disease in sugar cane workers in Nicaragua
