AB - Increasing surgeon and hospital volume improves outcome following a range of surgical procedures, including primary and revision knee surgery. Increasing operative volume leads intuitively to greater familiarity and experience. This is particularly important for those surgeons and centres undertaking complex procedures that are often performed infrequently.
