Teddy is a research associate in the Dyson School of Design Engineering working with Dr. Billy Wu and Dr. Samuel Cooper. His interest lies in the development of energy storage systems to enable the wider use of renewable energy sources. He currently works on increasing the performance of high power lithium-ion batteries through improved thermal management.
His PhD was in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) where he investigated the effect of bulk viscosity in wall-bounded compressible turbulence using direct numerical simulation (DNS). He has a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
