Tom Dongmin Kim received his PhD in Bioscience Engineering from KU Leuven, Belgium in 2021 where he investigated evolvability and mechanism of bacterial endospore resistance using directed evolution. Now he joined Dr. Tanai Cardona's lab to explore hidden potential of one of the nature's mighty enzyme photosystem II using directed evolution and synthetic biology approach.
