I am a post-doctoral research associate at the Department of Chemical Engineering. My primary research interests comprise flow, heat transfer and interfacial phenomena in energy systems, from pool/flow boiling, freezing and thin films (e.g., nuclear engineering, concentrated solar power systems and micro-cooling schemes) to emulsions, complex fluids and hydrate formation (e.g., oil and gas, flow assurance, reactors and energy storage). I develop and implement advanced laser-based diagnostics to obtain spatiotemporally resolved information and physical insight into the flow and heat transfer characteristics of complex natural and engineering systems.

My background is in Chemical Engineering with a specialisation in fluid mechanics. I received my PhD from the Department of Chemical Engineering of University College London (January 2018), while I have done short stints at the Department of Nuclear Science and Engineering of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Department of Mechanical Engineering of China University of Petroleum.
