Summary

Dr. Wei Cui was trained in medicine at Peking Union Medical College, China, and then awarded the China-British Council Technical Co-operation Scholarship to undertake her PhD at the University of London, UK. Over the years, she has obtained extensive experience in cell biology, molecular biology and transgenic animals and published several papers in leading scientific journals. She joined Imperial College London in 2006 and the research in her laboratory focus on embryonic stem cell biology, particularly on understanding the molecular mechanisms governing pluripotent stem cell differentiation.
