How do I apply?
Students who wish to take the Communicating Physics course are required to submit an application form and formally apply for this course. Unlike other modules, it is not possible to enrol on the Communicating Physics course without formally applying and subsequently being accepted on to the course.
The Communicating Physics Application Form will be available at the options talks and options fair. The deadline for applying in 2016-17 has now passed. If you are interested in taking Communicating Physics you will have to apply next year for the 2017-18 academic year. The application process usually opens in May. Once applications have been considered, selected students are then invited to a brief interview which is held in June after the examinations and before the end of term.
Late applications are only ever considered in exceptional circumstances and when certified mitigation can be provided to show that mitigating circumstances have prevented the student from applying for the course by the published deadline. Late applications can only be considered if there is enough time for a DBS check to be processed prior to the commencement of the course.
