How to reach us 

South Kensington campus The Polymers & Microfluidics group is based in the Department of Chemical Engineering, South Kensington Campus, Imperial College London.

The ACE building is noted 16 on the map (higher resolution map available).

The most convient entrance is from the 'walkway', opposite to the 'senior common room'. João's office ACE517A and labs are on the 5th floor.

Travel to and from Imperial College

From Heathrow airport
Take the Underground train (Piccadilly Line) to South Kensington station (50 minutes travelling time).

From Gatwick airport
Take a British Rail train to Victoria station (journey time 40 minutes) and then by Underground train (Circle or District Line; westbound) to South Kensington or bus 52 to Royal Albert Hall.

From City Airport 
Take the Docklands light rail (DLR) into Bank (20 min) and then the Underground train (Circle or District Line; westbound) to South Kensington station. 

From South Kensington station, 
The campus is only five minutes' walk. Either follow the subway signposted to the museums or walk north up Exhibition Road (towards Hyde Park). The College is next to the Science Museum.

The transport for London official website has an excellent journey planner. Purchase of an Oyster travel card for the undergound/bus network is suggested (£3 deposit, ~1/2 price tickets). Tube map for central London.
