London Fashion Week

Ian Gillett, Imperial's health and safety director, caught the feel of London Fashion Week at the Natural History Museum when Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham, sashayed down the catwalk on Wednesday last week with designer Maria Grachvogel. Ian, previously responsible for noise monitoring at the event and ensuring minimum disturbance when it was held at the College in 1997, said: "It was a right scrum. For the Beckham picture, you felt like you should be wearing shin pads. The way they slammed those camera cases down everywhere was incredible."
