This section features links within the College’s website to help applicants find a potential sponsor. It is each applicant’s responsibility to find a sponsor to support their  application and act as a mentor throughout the fellowship. Applications that are not fully supported by an identified sponsor will not be considered.

Candidates are encouraged to approach their preferred sponsor(s) at the earliest opportunity to discuss their interest and availability to support a fellowship application.

Remember that sponsors must be senior, permanent members of staff within the Academic or Research Families and are limited to supporting a single fellowship application in each competition and may only sponsor (or co-sponsor) one Imperial College Research Fellow at any one time.

Prospective candidates interested in seeking a co-sponsor at The Francis Crick Institute, can find out more about Crick group leaders and their research interests here.
