Intelectins - sequence alignment

Alignment of intelectin domains from a selection of known and predicted intelectin proteins.  Residues that are identical in all or nearly all of the aligned sequences are highlighted in green.  Residues that are similar are highlighted in cyan.  Cysteine residues are highlighted in yellow.  Asparagine residues that are potential N-glycosylation sites are highlighted in orange.  Equivalent conserved asparagine residues in other proteins that are not part of an Asn-Xxx-Ser/Thr glycosylation motif are highlighted in pale orange.  Potential sites of GPI-anchor attachment are highlighted in red.  The fibrinogen-like region is marked and the sequence of human human fibrinogen beta is aligned below the intelectin sequences.
