How To Apply

Our recruitment process starts in December. Candidates are invited for interview from early March onwards. We aim to make decisions as early as possible.

We have in general a few Research Council studentships which are open to United Kingdom (fees and living expenses) and European Union citizens (fees only). Students are also encouraged to apply for other sources of external support, eg , European Union awards, national and other scholarships. Please note that many of these scholarships have very early application deadlines (more than a year before the start of PhD study.)

The admission procedures for postgraduates are explained in the Imperial College postgraduate prospectus. This prospectus includes information in downloadable form (in PDF format). It also contains further information on fees and funding .
