There are a number of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants conveniently near the accommodation for eating out or for buying food to enjoy in the accommodation. In addition we have the famous Westfield Shopping Centre which includes numerous restaurants and a cinema , next to Shepherd's Bush, close to the teaching venue. Last but by no means least participants can travel into London to enjoy the amenities offered by our world-class city.

There are several possibilities to travel between accommodation and the teaching venue in the Commonwealth Building, on the Hammersmith Campus, next to Hammersmith Hospital.

You can take the Central Line from North Acton (5 minute walk from Woodward Halls) to East Acton or White City (both 10 minutes walk from Hammersmith Hospital). Another option would be to join the 72/272 bus which stops right outside the hospital on Du Cane Road and outside White City tube stop.

In addition to the underground, the 95 bus stops 4 minutes walk from the Halls (Gypsy Corner) and at Phoenix High School (8 minutes walk from the hospital). The White City bus stop is just a few stops from the Phoenix High School allowing you to change to the 72/272 bus, as above, if desired.

Please check the Transport for London website for full details and any engineering works that might affect your journey. The Woodward Halls travel page has further suggestions for travel into London or other local areas.
