Who should apply?
Previous courses have been attended by national and international participants from a variety of medical and non-medical backgrounds varying from students to professionals at all stages of their career. A maximum number of 70 participants will be accepted.
Participants are expected to:
- have an interest in and passion for global health
- participate fully by attending all sessions and contributing to debates, discussions and small group work.
This course is designed as an introduction to the field of Global Health, and some participants later decide to undertake further university training after completing the Short Course. The course is not designed for candidates with prior training in Global Health who wish to further their training. It aims to introduce students to the main questions within the scholarship of Global Health and is not a course which aims to develop students' skills in epidemiology.

Payment must be made with the online application form and confirmation of your place will be sent only after this has been confirmed. This can take up to five working days.
Cancellation and transfer policy
A full refund will be given to cancellations made in writing three weeks prior to the course. Cancellations made after this date will be liable to the loss of the full fee. Refunds are processed after the course.
Attendees who are unable to attend the course may transfer their place one time only, otherwise they will be liable to the loss of the full fee. A transfer request must be made in writing.
