Venue

The meeting will be held at Charles Darwin House in London. The registration desk will be situated on the ground floor and facility staff will guide you. Lunch and refreshments will be held in the Breakout Area of the conference center. The meeting begins with refreshments at 10am on Thursday 17th December and finished at approximately 5pm on Friday 18th December.

The conference dinner will be held at Little Bay Restaurant Farringdon, a short walk (~10minutes) from the Charles Darwin House.

Travel

As it’s London, it's pretty easy to get to, however, it’s also Christmas so London will be very busy. Be prepared for delays and for journeys to take longer than expected. Nevertheless, there are many ways to get into London; Please visit the TFL webpage to help plan your journey: https://tfl.gov.uk.

By tube: The nearest Underground stations to Charles Darwin House are Chancery Lane (8-10minute walk) and Russell Square (10-12 minute walk). 

By bus: Buses number 19, 38, 55 and 243 go to Theobald Road (approximately 8minute walk) from Charles Darwin House.

By air: From Heathrow airport, take the underground (Piccadilly Line) to Russell Square. From Gatwick airport, the national rail train to London Victoria station and then the underground to either Chancery Lane (Victoria Line then Central Line) or Russell Square (Victoria Line then Piccadilly Line).

By sea: Take a British Rail train from the port of entry to London (Harwich to London journey time 1hr 30 mins; Dover to London journey time up to 2hrs) and then travel by Underground to Russell Square, Chancery Lane or the nearest Underground station to your hotel.

By car:  Delegates are not advised to travel by car to the conference venue, as parking is limited in the city. There are some on-street metered parking spaces available on Roger Street and North Mews and car park facilities. If you plan on driving to your hotel, please contact them for travel advice.
