VarsityFest - it's all fun and games
VarsityFest is that time of year where Imperial College competes against Imperial Medics across multiple sports for the 17th year.
It is the biggest event in the Imperial College sporting calendar and this year VarsityFest took place on Saturday 2 March at Heston sports ground. Imperial College and Imperial medics battled it out in across seven different sports on the day, as well as addition of the hockey fixtures which took place on Wednesday 27 February at Harlington. Aside from all the thrills of the matches, there was plenty of other activities too, including live entertainment, a chill out zone, facepainting, food and drink stalls and more!
This year’s thrilling headline match was the Men’s Football 1st teams and the exciting game kept the crowds on the edge of their seats but the day ended on a high for Imperial College with the final score being 3-2 against Imperial Medics.
The final scores for this year’s Varsityfest currently stand at 15-12 to Imperial College, however Imperial Medics are looking to close the gap at the Waterpolo which is taking place on Friday 15 March!
