An example of a personal property claim would be if your baggage was lost by the carrier and you needed to replace your belongings quickly.  See Travel and Personal Property Insurance Policy for further details.

Cancellation

Please contact your travel management company (Egencia) or your chosen travel company to see whether the flight and/or accommodation expenses can be recovered.  Please recover airport taxes too as these will reduce the overall costs of any insurance claim.  If costs have not been recovered in full please complete the Claim Form and return it to insurance@imperial.ac.uk. Claim will be assessed and £50 policy excess will be deducted from settlement.

An example of a cancellation claim would be if you were unable to travel to your planned conference in France as the organisers had cancelled it at short notice.
