Who should attend?

This workshop is for staff who are, or are thinking of becoming external examiners and/or for course conveners managing and appointing external examiners; it may be of particular interest to those relatively new to these roles. The workshop seeks to provide guidance, advice and general information on external examining drawing on experience of the quality assurance process from across the HE sector and the Higher Education Academy’s 'A handbook for external examining'.

Prerequisite

Participants are expected to either be in the position of appointing external examiners, and/or of being or thinking of becoming an external examiner.
