Publish timings

The College's TerminalFour website publishes content in two main ways, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the publication timings below:

Approved pages and content

  • All Approved content will go live every morning. The timing of this can change, but it is normally shortly after 08:00 or 09:00.

Published pages and content

  • All Published content will go live shortly after the next hour, during our hourly transfer process.

How to Publish Section

If you want to publish content types that don't involve sub-folders, like the General content area, follow the How to Publish Section instructions.

  1. Go to the site structure, and find the page you want to make live.
  2. Hover over the yellow drop down arrow and select Publish Section.
  3. This will take you to:
    • the Publishing in Progress window, then please wait for the Publish completed message.
    • the Publishing lock detection message, please ignore this and click OK.
  4. Your published content will be transferred to the live site on the hour.

How to Publish Branch

If you want to publish content types that do involve one of the special repository sub-folders, like the HighlightBox, Sidebar, or Accordion follow the How to Publish Branch instructions.

Note: On larger sites it's better to publish in two stages, first the special repository sub-folder and second the page that display this content.

  1. Go to the site structure, and find the page you want to make live.
  2. Hover over the yellow drop down arrow and select Publish Branch.
  3. This will take you to:
    • the Publishing in Progress window, then please wait for the Publish completed message.
    • the Publishing lock detection message, please ignore this and click OK.
  4. Your published content will be transferred to the live site on the hour.
