University is a time when you learn a great deal about who you are, independent of your family and home. It is natural and common for people to want to explore their spiritual or religious identity, or to experience growing doubts or questions about faith, or develop a stronger or new faith.
In addition, the events that happen in our life – the joys and the sorrows – may strengthen or disturb our views of the world.
It’s good to talk to someone. The Chaplaincy Multi-Faith Centre is a place of help, advice, resources and information relating to issues of faith and spirituality. It has Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish and Muslim Chaplains and Faith Advisors, all of whom are respectful and non-judgemental of people with beliefs different to their own.
