Climate-KIC offers a special pre-incubation programme, the Greenhouse, to starting entrepreneurs who have an idea and the motivation to make it happen in the future, but are not fully ready yet. Whether your idea is not completely developed yet or you need some more time to perfect your already existing business plan, the Greenhouse programme is the place to be.
Imperial Create Lab
Imperial Create Lab runs and works with other institutions to put on conferences, talks from founders and sector experts, drop in Fridays (immediate help with ideas), cross department team building and student innovation awards. Create Lab enables students to test ideas at near zero cost and build a viable business plan so that teams are set up to succeed. Once a venture is up and running Create Lab help the team achieve scale by connecting with expertise, customers and investors.
Advanced Hackspace is a new venture that facilitates turning ideas into physical prototypes. Members are granted free access and training in a variety of workshops and labs around Imperial College. They can make use of their equipment and facilities, as well as a myriad of opportunities, to collaborate with like-minded makers and doers and be part of a series of inspirational and technically advanced hack-events.
The Graduate School: Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Courses
The Graduate School delivers training and promotes development opportunities for PhD Students, Postdocs and Fellows at Imperial in the enterprise and entrepreneurship space. Half day, one day and online Enterprise Skills courses are available to if you are an Imperial research student, postdoc or fellow. A range of Enterprising Researcher Workshops and Events also give you an opportunity to practice your enterprise skills and network with peers and practitioners.
