As a new student, you are required to complete your online College registration and programme enrolment before your start date.
If you are starting at Imperial, you can register online from the start of September. For some programmes, online registration will open at other dates.
If you are a new student from outside the European Economic Area (EEA), you will also need to register in person.
You will receive an email when your online registration window opens, including instructions on how to activate your College computer account and login to the student portal.
When does registration open?
Online registration opens at different times of the year, depending on your programme.
For the majority of students, registration will open in September.
How do I register?
All new students are required to register at the College using our online student portal, My Imperial.
To access our student portal, you will need to first activate your College computer account to get your username and password. You will receive details of how to do this via email, following an offer from the College.

How do I upload my passport and visa to the online student portal? (international students only)
If you are an international student who requires a visa to study at Imperial, you need to provide details of your up-to-date passport and visa.
You will also need to upload scanned copies of your passport and visa.
You will either need to upload your 30-day visa or your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP), depending on what you have been issued with.
