Worried about moving out of halls? Unsure about when and where to look for accommodation?
The Student Hub is holding the annual Private Housing Talk and exhibition on Monday 11 March to help you start your housing journey in the private sector.
The evening is designed to equip you with the essential information required to begin finding private accommodation. It will range from when to start looking, what to look out for, the questions you should be asking, the importance of finding the right flatmates and the areas of London that may suit you best. It will also discuss the essentials you need in ensuring your new house is legal, safe, and up to your expectations.
The evening runs from 16:30 to 19:00, beginning with an exhibition in the Queen's Tower Room's where you will be able to meet local estate agents and private halls providers.
This will be followed by a presentation at 18:00 in the Great Hall, with our Student Hub experts and representatives of the Students' Union talking you through the process of finding private accommodation.
