Applications for the 2019/20 INSPIRE programme are now closed

Please apply through UCAS teacher training this will open in October 2019.
Please search for Canterbury Christ Church as the course provider to find INSPIRE on the UCAS webpages and the Get into Teaching webpages. The programmes are called INSPIRE followed by the subject area.
The course codes for INSPIRE are:
- Chemistry 3F2B
- Maths: 3F2C
- Physics: 3F2D
- Physics with Maths: 3F29
We welcome applications from postgraduates who will have a PhD or Master's level degree in in physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering or closely related subject by the September in which they begin the course. Overseas qualifications are accepted where they are shown to be equivalent to a UK degree.
We encourage applicants to spend some time in a state secondary school completing observations with science or maths teachers before applying, if this can be arranged. School experience can be organised independently or through the School Experience Programme.
All applicants will need to show they have qualifications equivalent to a UK grade C in GCSE English and Mathematics. At application, we will review your qualifications and if they are not considered equivelent you may be asked to sit an equivalency test.

Students on the programme are eligible for tax free bursaries or scholarships to support their studies. To be eligible for a bursary or scholarship you must be entitled to support under the Student Finance England criteria.
